• Email address — used for account authentication (magic link login).
• Phone number — used to send SMS tee time alerts.
• Course preferences — which DFW courses you want to monitor.
• Weather & scheduling preferences — your preferred days, times, and weather thresholds.
• SMS consent record — the date and text of your opt-in consent, as required by law.

How We Use Your Data

• Your phone number is used solely to send tee time alert SMS messages. We never share your phone number with third parties for marketing.
• Your email is used only for authentication.
• Your preferences are used to match you with relevant booking windows and weather conditions.
• We may use aggregated, anonymized data to improve the service.

Third-Party Services

• Twilio — processes and delivers SMS messages on our behalf. Twilio’s privacy policy applies to SMS delivery.
• Supabase — hosts our database and authentication. Data is stored securely with row-level security.
• Open-Meteo — provides weather forecast data. No personal data is shared with Open-Meteo.
• Vercel — hosts the application.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Alert history is kept to show you your recent notifications. If you delete your account, all personal data is removed.

Your Rights

• Opt out of SMS — Reply STOP to any message, use the pause toggle on your dashboard, or email us.
• Request data deletion — Email hello@theteeagent.com and we will delete your account and all associated data.
• Access your data — Your dashboard shows all data we store about you. For a full export, email us.

Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security on all database tables, and secure authentication via magic links (no passwords stored).

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via the service.
